For the longest time, my children have been trying to convince myself and others that I need to upgrade to current technology.
They wanted myself and others to get 1 of those sizable flat screen smart TVs.
I actually don’t get the point as to why I would need a smart TV. I’m perfectly enthusiastic with my ‘dumb’ cable or whatever they would call it. As long as I have a clear picture & can hear what is being said, I’m just fine! They even tried to tell myself and others about smart temperature controls & how I could save all kinds of money on my weekly bills! My weekly bills aren’t even that high though. I regularly keep up with my correct Heating plus A/C plan repair & change the air filters as needed. I don’t know that I need some kind of smart temperature control to tell my Heating plus A/C plan how to run for me. I don’t get it with all this smart technology. There are even smart cellphones & I am just wonderful with my lake house cellphone, I don’t know that I even need a cell cellphone. The prices you have to pay weekly on those things is crazy anyway. The other thing they were telling myself and others I should get is a laptop so both of us can keep in touch on social media sites & I could do whatever else people do on laptops. I just have no interest in anything love that, and even if I did get a laptop or 1 of those smart devices, I wouldn’t have a clue how to use those gadgets. Even if they taught me, I would forget everything.
