I’m not super sure about almost everyone else but, I labor pretty seriously throughout the month to supply a great life for our appreciated 1s. The weekends are our time and strictly enforced. I don’t do business on the weekends unless it is a grave emergency. The weekend is our time to put our feet up and savor some HVAC comfort while catching up with our family. I kick back and decompress through the weekend. It’s the only attempt at balance I currently have. So, I don’t take too kindly to having someone banging on our door on a Sunday morning. Just a few weeks ago, I was lounging with our 3rd cup of coffee when the door got hammered as though the cops were in the middle of raiding our home. The stomp to the door was followed by our nearly ripping from the hinges as I opened it. Well, not really however you get it. It scared the hell out of the guy who was sitting on our steps with a name tag on his lapel. He introduced himself as the enforcement arm of the HOA. This made me even more miserable. I had been getting letters from the HOA threatening me with fines because our the red color of our HVAC condenser cabinet is sunlight faded. I threw away every single letter and replied that I will not be replacing the component or cabinet do to a shade of color. So, this little creep had the nerve to show up in person, on a Sunday morning, to pressure me. The absurdity was beyond anything I could handle. I simply closed the door in his face as he was in mid sentence.
