Working outside needs a great furnace

I had the thermostat on high and the furnace was running.

I found a job that I really love, but it means that at the hint of a snowstorm, I need to be outside. I drive a snow plow and when it snows really hard, I can sometimes be outside for days. Last year, we had a blizzard. We were told to be out and ready to go even before the blizzard began. We have heat in the cab of the trucks, so doing the pretreating of the roads wasn’t so bad. When the blizzard began that night, I was then manning the snowplow. Most snow plows have an enclosed cab and there is plenty of heating. I didn’t have any heat and my snowplow was open. I was out all night, trying to keep up with the rapidly deteriorating weather and the foot and a half of snow that fell within a couple of hours. By the time the snowstorm was over, we had nearly two and a half feet of snow and I was shivering. I couldn’t wait to get home and curl up in my recliner, while wrapping up in a blanket. I had the thermostat on high and the furnace was running. I could feel the heat coming from the air vents as I snuggled up on the recliner. With the heat from the air vents and the comfort of the recliner, I slept there for almost ten hours straight. When I woke up, I realized I had left the thermostat turned up to eighty and I was so warm that my skin was itchy. I was really glad I had a great furnace to continue working so well while I was recuperating from the blizzard.
