Anyone who asks a mother, what’s your greatest accomplishments, most will say their children. It’s true, mothers take pride in their children as well as all the things they do. My children in particular, are obsessed with the rain, both of them would run out and splash in the puddles and run in the rain. This concerns me greatly, so I tried taking them inside, but they did not take it lightly. They would grump and moan. So, I decided to make them a deal, I gave them a rain jacket as well as boots, and as long as it’s not lightning they can go out as well as play. One other rule I made, which is when they come back inside, they had to rest in front of the heater to ensure they stayed warm, maybe that was a bit extreme, but I wanted to be sure. As soon as they were done jumping in the rain, I placed them in front of the heating system. With the new rules, they didn’t complain, and instead they decided to rest there, or daydream. They seemed to pay more attention to the heating system then they did their school professors. I did tell her that when she is older, she can own her own HVAC company, and send HVAC technicians to go out and fix the air conditioners and heaters. She seemed to really love this idea, however for now, she was just focused on being a kid.
