In the middle of the night, I got an alert on our cell cellphone from our Heating and Air Conditioning system
For our daughter’s 13th anniversary, she wanted nothing more than to have a sleepover with a few of her friends, then every one of us have an inground pool in the backyard, so I suggested that she have everyone over to swim and eat, and then her friends could spend the night, and she enjoyed this idea! On the night of her anniversary get-together, there were about 10 women who came to swim, eat pizza and celebrate! Of those 10, only 6 of them absolutely spent the night. Since it was a anniversary get-together, I told our kid that they could stay up however late they wanted, however to keep quiet and try to get some sleep before day. I remember sleepovers when I was her age, so I knew they wouldn’t stay up too late. In the middle of the night, I got an alert on our cell cellphone from our Heating and Air Conditioning system. Every one of us have a smart thermostat installed, so whenever someone tries to alter the temperature, it sends an alert to our cellphone… My wife and I are strict about the thermostat, and our children are not aloud to alter the temperature! Thankfully, the smart thermostat has a lock feature, which keeps our kids from making any unnecessary changes. I got myself out of bed and down the hall to the thermostat to see why it was trying to be altered. I found 1 of our daughter’s friends sitting there trying to change the temperature, and I was shocked! Who tries to change someone else’s thermostat settings?!
