There’s only a couple of weeks in the late Summer where the temperature starts heating up enough to worry about using the A/C.
My partner is getting transferred from her job and the two of us are going to move down south in just a few weeks, but the two of us have never lived in an area where the temperature outside gets much hotter than 73 degrees or so, so this whole climate control change thing is going to be a major adjustment for us to make! In the beach house where the two of us live up north, the two of us don’t even have central a/c installed in our house. The fact is that the two of us just don’t really need a/c for most of the year. There’s only a couple of weeks in the late Summer where the temperature starts heating up enough to worry about using the A/C. The two of us do have a window unit cooling system in our bedroom to help keep us cool during that couple of weeks, however that’s it! Moving to the south is going to be absolutely peculiar for us, then i heard that down there, almost almost everyone has a central a/c plan in their house, and people hardly ever even open up their windows. I suppose the temperature gets pretty sizzling pretty fast down there, and they go straight from Wintertide to summertime! I am distraught about the whole A/C thing, to tell you the truth. I wonder how much money the two of us are going to end up having to spend on cooling costs at our modern house, however hopefully the fact that the two of us won’t have to use the oil furnace absolutely often will help to balance out the cooling costs. I do believe that I won’t love the sizzling climate if the two of us don’t have a reliable A/C in the modern house!
