I don’t date people who don’t exercise

What are you hard and fast rules for dating? Some people are incredibly specific, like my cousin who would only date blondes who were above a certain height.

Most people are a lot more relaxed in what they look for in a potential mate or spouse, and yet everyone has some criteria they look for.

For me I look for people who aren’t super into animals, just because I am allergic to most cats, and many dogs as well, so dating a pet owner basically guarantees I will be sneezy and itchy all the time. Also, I don’t want to date someone who hates to exercise. I would not call myself a workout fanatic, by any means. I do have a gym membership, but I would have to admit that I only go there once or twice a month, at most. So maybe I’m can’t say anything about what other people do, but I think everyone needs a baseline level of exercise in their life. If you don’t want to hit the gym, fine, the go take a long walk every day, or work around the yard. It doesn’t take a personal trainer to get your heart rate up and put your muscles to good use. If you can use a gym, and avail yourself of a physical training program, then I encourage you to do so. Personal trainers help out a lot more than you would think. Regardless of how you approach your own physical fitness, you need to at least be aware of it, or it is a major turn off for me.
