For the longest time, my children have been trying to convince me that I need to upgrade to new technology, they wanted me to get a single of those sizable flat screen smart TVs.
- I absolutely don’t get the point as to why I would need a smart TV.
I’m perfectly gleeful with my ‘dumb’ television or whatever they would call it. As long as I have a clear picture and can hear what is being said, I’m just fine! They even tried to tell me about smart control units and how I could save all kinds of money on my utility bills, then my utility bills aren’t even that high though. I always keep up with my official Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C system maintenance and change the air filters as needed. I don’t know that I need some kind of smart control unit to tell my Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C system how to run for me. I don’t get it with all this smart technology. There are even smart cellphones and I am just enjoyable with my house cellphone, I don’t recognize that I even need a cell cellphone. The prices you have to pay monthly on those things is insane anyway. The other thing they were telling me I should get is a laptop so the people I was with and I can keep in touch on social media sites and I could do whatever else people do on laptops. I just have no interest in anything like that! Even if I did get a laptop or a single of those smart devices, I wouldn’t have a clue how to use those gadgets. Even if they taught me, I would forget everything.
