I don’t guess it is my temperature control

My Heating and A/C specialist is trying to blame all of the complications with my furnace, on the temperature control, which I suppose is a lot of bunk.

Maybe it is possible for the furnace to turn on and off intermittently if the temperature control is beginning to malfunction. I can’t understand how it will also provide an smell of something burning. If the temperature control were the problem, after that I suppose the burning would come from the temperature control. My partner was an industrial electrician and even she thought it was a lot of bunk and the Heating and A/C specialist had no idea what was wrong with the furnace. My partner decided that she was going to go downstairs and look at the furnace on her own. She swore that she could repair the problem or at least tell the Heating and A/C business what was wrong and what was causing the smell. She went through the entire electrical method in the basement and in the furnace. She found that there were some crossed wires. She called the Heating and A/C business and asked if they could send over the young Heating and A/C tech who had been to our beach house twice previously. My partner took him to the furnace and showed him the burnt wiring. She asked him how much she knew about the wiring that went with this unique furnace and the young man admitted that she didn’t suppose truly much about the electrical system. My partner patiently showed him what to look for in the wiring so that she would never make this kind of a mistake with a furnace, in the future.
