I was actually very disappointed when I first went to college.
I ended up going for one of those colleges they advertise on TV.
I should have known that would be a sizable mistake. The thing that really bothers me is that you still have to pay for this sizable tuition and you wonder what you are actually getting for the money. One of the first things I noticed was how rundown the school building was. It was like going into an office building that had all kinds of problems. One major problem was the heating and cooling system. The temperature control settings were never good and I don’t think they actually had HVAC zone control in the building. I was sure of that because the temperature was warmer on one side of the building than the other. I thought these people should be able to afford an HVAC technician to come repair the issues with the heating and cooling, but they didn’t seem to care about the students or the air quality. The only way to get fresh air was to take a step outside for a little while and have a break. Eventually I got so fed up with this school that I decided to drop out and attend a different school. I ended up going to a trade school and it was the best move of my life because I earned my HVAC certification. I actually got a quality education and learned a quality trade and now I make really good money as an HVAC technician. I am even thinking about starting my own HVAC business eventually.
