It isn’t even officially winter yet but I’m already over it.
I can’t seem to get the house warm enough.
The problem has been getting worse over the past couple of years. I have thought about upgrading our insulation and getting a better Heating, Ventilation in addition to A/C unit. My wife keeps telling me that we cannot afford it even though I am the 1 who works from home. I am the one who deals with a cold house constantly. Each morning my wife heads to her extravagant office downtown that has a perfect Heating, Ventilation in addition to A/C plan. My wife does not seem to mind bundling up in the house at night. It is only for a few hours. I run a small online marketing company. I also take care of the kids when they get home from school. So I am forced to live that way all the time. I have even tried using portable gas furnaces in the office. This does not seem to help that much. My wife earns much more than I do as well as controls how the cash is distributed in the house. I have been working really hard to try to convince her that spending the money on a new HVAC system would be a good idea. It would actually save us in the long run. The utility bills would be lower if the two of us were to invest in a new heating and air conditioning machine. It certainly would help make it less drafty.
