Losing the heater in the damage

I had a really horrible week.

A serious Winter storm blew through a few days ago and knocked out the power in town.

With snow drifts over several feet as well as winds blow to nearly sixty miles per hour, it was impossible for utility companies to fix up the lines for several days. The biggest issue was the fact that our Heating, Ventilation in addition to A/C method needs power to run. I wished I had looked into a generator before. I find myself in this position. Our Heating, Ventilation in addition to A/C dealer has had a few specials on the purchase in replacement of whole house generators. I simply felt that I couldn’t afford 1 at the time. Now, I am faced with broken pipes, the water to the house shut off and a hefty maintenance fee from the plumber. The basement is a mess because the two of us didn’t notice the burst pipe until it warmed up enough to thaw the break as well as the method of cleaning all that up is daunting. Once the heat came back I thought I was in good shape until all of that happened. At least the gas furnace was not ruined by the leak. I did not have to buy a new one of those too. I already had to call the Heating, Ventilation in addition to A/C dealer to come give me a price on a generator. Many of our neighbors are doing the same thing. So it will be a few days before they can get to me.
