Well, the time is finally here where the temperature starts to drop and spending time outside is no longer enjoyable due to the heat. In years past I had always been more than prepared for the summer season, but this year has been a little different. Due to my busy work schedule and the arrival of my first son I had failed to get around to getting my air conditioning unit looked at. Last year it has given me some problems during the tail end of the summer, and it only took a few weeks for it to fully break down on me this year. I ended up having to reach out the the local HVAC repair company in town who seemed like they would be able to help me the quickest. While they were without question friendly and respectable, the quote they gave me on replacing my broken down air conditioning unit had me extremely stressed out. If I would have stayed on top of things and just had my HVAC unit serviced during the winter I would have been able to save thousands of dollars, literally.
