I had been using window air conditioning units in my home, ever since I bought it. I was tired of the window AC and I wanted to finally be able to purchase a central air conditioning unit. My old window AC units were loud and inefficient. I knew that the central AC unit would not only be quieter and more efficient, but it would also be cleaner. It probably would be cheaper to buy new window air conditioners, but I had my heart set on purchasing a central AC unit. For the last two years, I had been working a lot of overtime and putting every bit of spare money that I had, into the bank. I wanted to be able to pay case when I had the new AC system installed. When Christmas arrived, I was only a couple of hundred dollars away from my goal. It was really cool when my parents asked me what I wanted for Christmas this year. I told them that I wanted cash so that I could finally purchase my new AC unit. When Christmas came around, they gave me the cash and I was thrilled. They gave me enough that it finally topped off the amount I had in my savings, so that I could purchase my new AC system. I called the HVAC company so I could have them come out and assess my home. I knew there were a lot of measurements that needed to be made and I would have to make some decisions. I also wanted to know that I could wait a month or so before I really needed the new AC unit.
