Figuring out my air problems

Close to a year ago when I first moved into our co-workers house, I certainly did not have any right to voice any complaints.

I was just so grateful to have a roof to sleep under, so I kept our mouth shut about every other detail.

I assumed, if I was indoors and had a bed to sleep in, everything else was unpressing. I certainly did not mind the lack of space or the abundance of pet hair in the air. I just felt extremely grateful, and did not say a word about the uncomfortable aspects of the current situation, but however, as time wore on, I’ve noticed a couple of things that have continued to annoy me, first of all, I’ve wondered this entire time why our study room felt so warm and humid, and at evening, I had a very hard time sleeping and due to the heat and humidity in our space, but the air vent was unclogged by furniture and I positioned the slats to be completely open. Anyways, it still seemed like I acquired a minimal a/c. I never wanted to complain about the thermostat settings, so I started purchasing box fans to sleep during the night. One day, I was bending down near the air vent when I noticed something different just behind the metal grate. I grabbed the screwdriver and cooked the cover off, and when I locationd our hand inside, I yanked it back in complete and total disgust with a scream. It was clear now why our room felt so warm and stagnant every day; the air vent was easily restrained with pet hair.
