I have a central air conditioner in my house, but I try not to use the air conditioner too often. When I set the thermostat for my air conditioner, I like to set the temperature for 78 degrees in my house. I know that most of the people that come to my house complain about the temperature, when I tell them that I intentionally set the thermostat for the air conditioner at this temperature, it confuses them. They always ask me why I don’t like the air conditioner running very often, but I can’t ever give them one short answer for how I use the air conditioner. I guess that there are many reasons why I use the air conditioner like this. Firstly, it is a lot cheaper to use your air conditioner in moderation. By setting the thermostat to 78 degrees, you can save hundreds of dollars on your electric bill. Since I don’t like the air conditioner much anyways, I don’t see why I would want to spend a lot of money on the air conditioner. Also, I don’t like really cold temperatures. I use the air conditioner to make sure that the temperatures are not extreme, but I don’t use it to keep my house chilly. Also, I don’t like the air conditioner. It makes going outside seem uncomfortable. However, if I only use my air conditioner lightly, then the transition between inside and outside isn’t terrible. Finally, I don’t use the air conditioner because I think that it makes me weaker. I would rather be able to survive in any circumstance. I don’t want to only be able to survive in the ideal climate.
