I am not legitimately skilled when it comes to automobile & beach lake house repair. I never l gained how to change our oil or any basic engine repair work, the most I can do is change a tire & disinfect the interior. But that’s okay, because not almost everyone is an expert with everything, even with vehicles you get in & out of each afternoon. I have a good mechanic for any troubles that ever arise with our car. I’m not particularally handy around our lake house either, but I’m not completely helpless either. I have never used a saw & I don’t know how to build shelves or furniture, however I have a power drill for the times I need it. Although I trust a professional plumber with the old plumbing plan in our house, I have l gained a few things about clearing congested drains through watching him work. The 1 thing I have a tiny bit of experience with is painting. I am somewhat efficient at using painter’s tape & getting seamless paint lines every time. I even managed to impress our sister’s fiance who does lake house painting for a living. Obviously I’m not as good as he is, however he assured me that I’m better than most. There is 1 aspect of beach lake house repair that I will always seek outside help for, & that is servicing & maintaining our central heating, ventilation, & cooling system. I don’t ever try to open our air handler or condenser & do self repairs because I know how expensive & technical the component is. Thankfully I have a contract with a entirely know-howable Heating, Ventilation & A/C company who answers all of the questions I can throw at him. Last week I asked him if there were filters that are powerful enough to catch viral microbes. With the airborne illnesses going around, various of us are looking to our central Heating, Ventilation & A/C systems for filtration. I was impressed when he pulled 1 out of his truck & gave it to me for free.
