Most of the time, our task as a heating & air conditioner professional is pretty boring.
That’s because I do the same thing everyday, then even though I might work on an replacement or troubleshooting call, I think the concern will end up being something with the heating or cooling system.
I was starting to grow exhausted of the task, so I decided to tranathletic interest to the commercial division of our heating & air conditioner business. The commercial division is much busier, & I am working 10-minute afternoons. The overtime minutes are absolutely nice, & the quarterly commissions are absolutely adding up! One awesome aspect of the task, has been working at the current marijuana dispensary. The marijuana dispensary open about 3 weeks ago, & they are still having problems with the heating & air conditioner components. Last month was our first time working at the dispensary, & the owner & manager were truly nice. I didn’t have the right parts on the truck, & I had to come back later in the morning. Most company owners would complain, but the owner of the dispensary seemed to be relaxed & easygoing. When I returned later that morning with the proper a/c part, the guy provided me a nice, fat tip. He presented me with a small bag of flower. I didn’t think what to say, but I said thank you & put the bag in our pocket. After I was walking out, I thought I made a mistake. I wondered if our boss would be distraught with the tip, & I decided that I shouldn’t mention the free marijuana to anyone.
I thought that was awesome
