I’m quite reluctant to change anything that still will operate! I got by with the same control component for nearly 11 years.
It was a big, black dial that I needed to manually adjust to make any alterations in our temperature. It wasn’t overly great and only fulfilled a single purpose despite the fact that I still hated to invest in a new control unit. So modern smart control units are very fancy and complicated to install. I ended up hiring a professional Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C team to give me some recommendations, installation and setup up. The worker who came to the home started telling me all about building automation systems. He said that wireless automation systems are becoming more of a thing with homeowners and offer all sorts of conveniences. I did a little research and noticed that I could combine the management of household appliances and systems into a single system. Things like remote access! However, a lot of the newer appliances in the home include WIFI linkivity. I can program our washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and even our refrigerator through an app on our phone. Having so many different apps is a bit confusing and time-consuming so I tended to ignore them. I wasn’t using these modern day appliances to their fullest potential. Now that I have the automation system, I’m able to make changes, set up programs, find problems and maximize the efficiency and features of our household equipment.
