Zone controlled system keeps the kids from fighting

These days, everybody is complaining about social isolation and the immense boredom of being at home alone.

With the coronavirus explosion out in the world, everybody is locked inside and losing their marbles.

That being said, I would kill to have a lonesome experience throughout this lockdown. I am absolutely envious of the people who are at home alone right now, because the alternative is not pretty. I’m currently trapped in my house with my four children who aren’t allowed to go to school. Yes, four children between the ages of 6 and 15. As you can imagine, I’m not able to get any of my work done remotely and they are driving me absolutely insane. Thank God, this isn’t the first time that we’ve had all of the kids locked in the house before. Every summer break or holiday vacation, we had to deal with the drama of these wildly different children coexisting in one place. That’s why we had zone controlled heating and cooling installed in the house many years ago. Back in the day, when we only had three children, they would drive us absolutely insane with their air temperature bickering. Every child has a different indoor air temperature preference. One of them enjoys it being extremely warm, one of them likes it to be brutally cold, one of them has a sensitivity to humidity, and one of them is adverse to any kind of draft. As you can see, we have too many opinions for 1 central heating and cooling system. We had the zone controlled air quality control system installed, and separated all of their bedrooms into distinct areas. Now, even when the kids are driving me absolutely insane, at least I know that the HVAC system isn’t in danger of being the center of their fights.
