I need Dehumidifiers in Southern Home

I live in the southeast, then it is so darn hot here most of the time, and as is so commonly heard every November, it’s not just the heat, but it’s the humidity, as well.

Heat and humidity go hand in hand in our neck of the woods.

In fact, it is so humid in this area, that Heating and A/C manufacturers have dehumidifiers built right into the air conditioners, but whole-house dehumidifiers are designed to work in conjunction with your central Heating and A/C system; generally, the a/c, rather than the heater… Forced air heating causes air to dry out without any help needed from a dehumidifier, usually, anyway, a whole-house dehumidifier can be a really wonderful way to get the right amount of humidity in your home! The humidifier sucks air from your home into the return HVAC duct. In the southeast, that is almost always hot, moist air – the kind of air that makes you assume disgusting every summer, and okay, so then the hot, moist air gets drawn into the Heating and A/C unit, where the air gets cooled down. When that happens, the watcondenses, just care about it does on the outside of your sweet Pepsi glass. The drops of condensation are dripped into a tray, or maybe even directly outside, and there you have it, the cooled air gets blown out through the air vents, minus the water droplets. They do make portable dehumidifiers, as well, and those work in much the same way; the difference is that they only work in whatever room they are housed. Another advantage to a whole home dehumidifier is that your a/c will have to work less to keep your air at the best thermostat setting for you.
