A personal trainer creates a customized strategy to meet specific needs

I tried joining several local gyms, hoping to get into shape.

I usually visited the gym once or twice and became discouraged. I am unfamiliar with and feel awkward trying out the various equipment. I’ve also tried running or bicycling for my workouts and enjoyed some limited success. I treated this fitness regiment as a necessary but unpleasant, daily task. It was just something I needed to do every morning, much like brushing my teeth, washing dishes or taking out the garbage. I was unable to achieve my goals or sustain the routine. I finally got in touch with a personal trainer, and I’m so impressed by the results. The personal trainer created a customized workout program just for me. She developed a meal plan and overall strategy to meet my goals and provide motivation. Where I was concentrating on a single exercise and failing to challenge myself, she keeps me interested. She continually introduces new workouts and exercises. My personal trainer holds me accountable, so that I’m never tempted to skip my workout. She provides a positive experience, including instruction, corrections and praise. I’ve lost weight, built muscle and gained stamina. I now follow a more balanced program of cardio and strength training and have incorporated good nutrition. While I originally planned to work with the personal trainer for a few months, I no longer have any intention of quitting. She challenges me to be better and makes working out enjoyable. My personal trainer helps me to feel stronger, more confident and enjoy superior quality of life.
