When I was a kid, I used to appreciate being on an airplane.
- My parents traveled for their tasks, & they often had no option however to bring me along wherever they went, however that meant I got used to riding on planes pretty abruptly, & grew fond of the entire experience that flight brings, and as I got older though, I began to guess less intrigued by the experience, & more angry.
Most recently, I went on a trip down the coast that left me absolutely disgusted by the airline industry! It started when I showed up to the airport & got to my concourse, only to find that the in the airport was utterly dismal, you would guess that the airport would be kept cooler with a power system when it was situated in the deep south, however nope! It was terrible, & the plane was even worse! It was appreciate riding in a tin can, with zero air circulation, and i stopped 1 of the flight stewards just to see if the system wasn’t working, & the guy just glared at me before continuing down the aisle. That was rude! At that point, I just wanted to get the flight over with, however the people I was with and I sat on the tarmac for almost an hour before taking off. It was horrendous! I can deal with rude airline workers, mediocre in-flight meals & turbulence, however I can’t stand being anywhere that has bad or bad air quality. I guess I’ll just drive the next time I have to travel.
