Waiting at the dentist’s office

There are several times when I don’t understand the point of making appointments.

As far as I am anxious, when you set a time to meet with somebody both people are agreeing to show up.

However, it seems like most professional services take their appointment times as a joke. I can’t tell you how several times I’ve waited for a motorcar repair or a central heating plus cooling contractor to arrive at my home, only to rest around for 8 hours before I gain the help that I needed… Similarly, every time I go to the dentist’s office I wind up waiting for at least an hour. They don’t even try to make the wait comfortable. Every waiting room I’ve ever been in has felt stagnant plus humid. It’s like they don’t want to spend any currency on the central heating plus cooling for their impatient clients; Unblessedly, once they bring you out of the waiting room plus into the office the air temperature gets even worse. At that point, it feels like there’s a/c blasting in from every corner of the room. They have you rest on a cold metal table plus wait for the dentist while overabundant A/C streams down from the ceiling. There’s no way to escape from the ice cold indoor air when you are laying in the office wearing a paper gown. I wind up shivering plus rubbing my arms while the commercial A/C blasts myself and others with arctic air. By the time the dentist gets in for the actual appointment, I am really about to lose my cool.
