I have a pet dog that I have named Gypsy.
My dog is a rescue and she is super cuddly, everytime I sit on the couch, she sits on our lap and shows her love… When it’s cold out, she will even go under the blankets like a human, but it’s the middle of summer time and I live in the South where it is really hot and humid outdoors, but just the other day, my central a/c idea started acting up.
I could tell something was off when I started covered in sweat inside of our apartment, gypsy sat on our lap and I felt extra hot due to the fact that her body heat and our own. I went to check the temperature control and as I turned it down the a/c did not get any cooler. I called our friend who happens to be an Heating and A/C serviceman. She was extremely tied up and she didn’t answer her cell phone. I started to research what to do if your temperature control and central a/c aren’t working. It took me awhile to research and I kept covered in sweat because of the heat in our house and our stress. I was able to tell that Gypsy was uncomfortable at this point. Instead of resting on our lap, she laid under a chair on the wood floor to cool down, at a single point she even positioned her body near a fan to get some cool air. It’s so cool to see that pets need a/c the same way humans do. After doing some research, I tried everything the internet said. I changed our a/c equipment filter, I turned the temperature control off and back on and then checked the breaker in the third portion of our house building. None of these steps worked however thankfully our friend called me back and told me she would be over shortly to repair our a/c!
