Running app on my phone elevates workouts

I frequently got a run for my morning workouts.

I appreciate the convenience of it.

Beyond a decent pair of sneakers, I don’t require a whole lot of overpriced gear. I can switch up the course and distance of the run. Stepping outside and inhaling fresh air increases my energy levels. Running is a fast way to burn calories and improvement happens very rapidly. However, my workouts had gotten a little bit stale. I noticed I was sometimes reluctant to get started on a run and would even cut my path short. A buddy of mine suggested I try a running app that I could download onto my smartphone for free. He said the app would work to freshen up my interest and motivation. I was skeptical, but since the app didn’t cost anything, I downloaded it. This app has made a huge difference in my level of training. I can set programs according to my goals. I can decide between working for greater distance, swift pace or more calorie burn. I keep track of my runs and then compare performance from one day to the next. During the run, a voice breaks into the music through my headphones and supplies my stats. I’m given the distance I’ve covered, current MPH, average pace and amount of calories burned. The information prompts me to work harder. I am eager to trim my time and maintain a pace under ten minute miles. A group of our friends and I have been sharing our stats with each other. This creates some friendly competition among us. We’re all achieving some of our best runs for the sake of bragging to each other about them.
