Personal trainer makes the difference

I am very interested in getting fit and keeping in shape.

  • I decided to try something new.

I joined a group fitness class at a local gym. After two weeks of this group fitness class I wasn’t happy with it. I didn’t like working out in a group setting and catering my fitness training to theirs. I didn’t like following along to instructions. I ended up quitting the group class. At least I was able to get a partial refund for the cost. I was still determined to improve my fitness level. After some research, I decided to sign up with a personal trainer. I was a bit nervous about it and reluctant to spend so much money, but it’s been worth it. The personal trainer and I meet at the local fitness center several days per week. She’s great about working around my schedule. She has set up a routine tailored specifically for me. I felt relaxed and motivated to work with her. Training with a private personal trainer is so much different than a group setting. It’s so much better and more productive. I don’t know why I didn’t start with the private personal trainer. It makes sense that a professional and one-on-one training would yield the greatest results. She personalizes the strategies to my abilities and goals. She pushes me to work harder and has helped me reach my specific goals. Plus, she’s taught me the proper way to workout and not hurt myself. I’ve lost weight, gained muscle tone and just feel so much better about myself overall.
