With apartment hunting there is typically going to be something you do not like about every location! My husband and I toured tons of different locations before settling on the location all of us got.
Now, I wouldn’t take any of those other houses as a gift, and the people I was with and I purchased the perfect location for us, but before finding this house, there was 1 condo I seriously was considering.
The 1 thing wrong with it was the apartment came with more than two HVAC units. My husband just about lost his mind when he saw that, instead I focused on the big windows in the residing room that gave a gorgeous backyard view. I also enjoyed the large laundry room and that the bedroom was laid out certainly open. My husband told me that none of those things mattered, the HVAC units would be a thorn in our sides forever. I finally let him talk me out of the location and now I am so blissful. I can’t even imagine doing maintenance on more than two units. That would be quite a hefty HVAC tune up bill, then what if something goes wrong with 1 of the units? Would it be a constant cycle of repair? The most concerning factor is why the apartment needed more than two units. There must have been something horribly wrong with the apartment to require those units. It wasn’t large enough to need the power, so the insulation or the floorproposal must have been off. I am blissful I didn’t inherit anything odd with our current house. I am so thankful I only have 1 heat pump component and it has given me no complications so far.
