When I had a small party at my house, things were going rather well.
The two of us had plenty of drinks, all kinds of enjoyable food, and enjoyable dealer.
I even had firewood stacked next to the fireplace in case anybody wanted to get the fireplace going. Well, halfway through our little shindig, the power went out! This was terrible because without the power, all of us were not able to use the oil furnace. I told everybody not to worry because all of us still had the fireplace to keep us warm and I had a propane gas furnace in the garage. So I told my friends to get the fire going in the fireplace while I went running for the propane heater. That propane gas furnace is mighty powerful and I just had it filled as well. Between the fireplace and the propane heater, all of us were able to keep the house nice and warm. I also had a boombox with plenty of batteries so all of us were still able to jam to some music! The two of us lit a bunch of candles and also all of us were provided light from the fireplace. Even though the power went out and stayed out for the rest of the evening, all of us still managed to have a enjoyable time. Some people said they were ecstatic the power went out because it made the party more enjoyable. I had to admit, it absolutely did add something to the shindig. By the end of the evening all of us were even resting around the fireplace just telling ghost stories and roasting marshmallows. Some people even made s’mores!
