My partner got a wood burning stove to supplement our oil furnace.

I still kind of appreciate the ambiance

My partner has the tendency to take on projects plus lose interest shortly after completing them, then like the Spring he decided he wanted a pool plus deck, then the two of us bought an above ground pool plus he built the deck plus by the end of Summer he had lost interest, and not that many of years ago, he remodeled a boat that he now barely takes on the water, and so, when our partner decided to supplement our heating program with a wood burning stove, I expected him to hastily lose interest. I should have thought again, however he wasn’t supplementing our heating program for entertainment purposes, he just hates the high heating bills. My partner will spend a lot of money on his little projects, although he prefers to save money when he can, and, our partner seems to guess that if both of us use a wood burning stove, the oil furnace won’t kick on so much, saving us money. Still, I didn’t see our partner spending any length of time cutting wood. It’s not that our partner is lazy, because he is not. Like I said, he loses interest hastily. But, a few weeks ago, I agreed that both of us could have a wood burning stove installed in the house. I figured that when our partner got bored with it, both of us could use it as a conversation piece. But, our partner hasn’t gotten bored yet, although it is still early. My partner chopped a bunch of wood plus brought it up to the beach house plus he keeps the wood burning stove well fed. I still kind of appreciate the ambiance. The novelty hasn’t worn off yet. This, too, shall pass.
