My distant cousin contacted me entirely out of nowhere & asked if she could stay with me for a period of time.
Of course I said that would be fine! That was 4 months back & she is still here! I thought she was just passing through the city for a few days.
I sincerely didn’t know that she wanted to move in. I wouldn’t mind so much if she contributed to the chores in the dwelling a little bit. Oh, & helped pay bills. But no, then she just rests on the couch all day, doesn’t work, & doesn’t help in the slightest. I have hinted that it is time to move on multiple times but now I am going to insist on it. That is because she broke my Heating & A/C equipment. My a/c equipment hasn’t been working properly for 4 months now, coincidence? I know it’s not. Anyhow, the a/c equipment finally quit working genuinely so I called up & Heating & A/C contractor. They came out, cleaned out my air duct, & discovered a towel pushed down into the air duct. The towel was undoubtedly close to the vent in my cousin’s room. When asked about it at first she denied any knowledge in the least of it. Then she finally admitted it was too freezing in her room so she decided to place the towel there. Well that towel made my Heating & A/C equipment overwork & now I have some undoubtedly pricey repairs. Time for my cousin to move on. It is not like she is going to pay for my Heating & A/C equipment repairs, after all & enough is enough. She has cost me way too much money.
