Instead of the sunshine I had a heater.
I have dreamed of a lovely tropical getaway for years now… My dream consists of powerful drinks, white sandy beaches, a swim in the ocean, plus all kinds of relaxing. So when my husband surprised me with tickets to the tropics I was completely thrilled. Unfortunately, my dream getaway didn’t take into consideration the fact that even the tropics have their off periods. It was entirely cold, windy, plus rainy the entire time! We actually spent almost the entire getaway in our hotel room or in one of the nearby bars. So at least the two of us still got the strong drinks however that was essentially it. However, the day before the two of us were tied up to depart it finally stopped raining plus I decided I was going to go for that swim. It was still incredibly frigid out but I still put on my bikini plus dashed down the white sandy beach to the water. I then jumped in plus splashed around for a good amount of time before running back into our hotel room plus warming up in front of the heater machine. My teeth were chattering plus I was not able to quit shaking however at least I could say I had swam in the tropics. I ended up falling asleep, still in my bikini, on the floor in front of the oil furnace in our hotel room. I honestly had a dream that I was on a chair out in the sun. I wish that were the case. Instead of the sunshine I had a heater. Instead of sand I had a hardwood floor. I believe the two of us will just have to take this trip again sometime down the road. Hopefully when it is a bit warmer.
