My wife is always the one in charge of the budget in our family.
- She’s really good at managing money most of the time and so I like letting her be in control of the budget for us.
However, this year, she’s starting to think that we are paying too much money for our air filters. I really like the HEPA air filters that we have been using for our HVAC system, though. I really don’t want to have to start using cheap old air filters again because I know that it reduces the indoor air quality in our house. My wife is insisting that we start saving money on the HVAC bills and the air filters, though. I’m really not sure exactly what it is that she expects me to do about it, though. I can’t exactly wait to change the air filters until they all go on a big discounted sale because then our indoor air quality would start to suffer. I’m a firm believer in changing out your air filters on a regular basis, even if you think that you don’t need to. Sometimes there is dust and dirt and particles in your air filters that you can’t see with the naked eye but your HEPA air filter can get them out of the air that’s circulating through your house. I understand that HEPA filters are more expensive than other cheaper types of air filters, but honestly, what’s more important than the indoor air quality in your home? I think my wife is going to have to figure out how to save money elsewhere in our budget.
