Taking a fitness class is necessary after gaining weight

When my girlfriend Samantha broke up with me, I fell into a deep depression.

I quit showering, cleaning my apartment, cutting my hair and working out. It took me quite awhile before I finally stepped back and took a long, hard look at myself. I had put on so much weight that I was nearly unrecognizable. Just normal diet and going for a jog every so often failed to get rid of the extra weight. I did not want to accept my new, larger size. I hoped to be able to take off my shirt at the beach with confidence. I finally got desperate and signed up for a personal training class. The personal trainer was absolutely wonderful. First, we sat down and created a nutritional program for me. This was referred to as nutritional counseling. It was helpful because my eating habits were not entirely healthy. We came up with a reasonable diet plan that I could stick to without feeling hungry all the time. Next, we determined a fitness course of action for when I was at the gym. My personal trainer helped me to create short term as well as long term goals for my weight and shape of my body. Then we got to work with the actual personal training. The whole experience was really rewarding. I could never have lost all the weight without the help. The personal trainer provided the right exercises and motivation. I am not just skinny, but strong and healthy. I have never looked so fit in my life. I plan to continue with the fitness program.
