The phantom, unfindable website

Almost a year ago or so I decided that I wanted to start our own business.

I knew that I wanted to offer preventative services on Heating & Air Conditioning systems for those who were too often tied up to do this chore themselves.

I don’t mean easily repairing them, I just wanted to offer to change out the air filters, vacuum out the air vents, winterize the exterior unit, small things like that. These are all the works that the average homeowner usually does but numerous people are too tied up to bother. I figured that they could pay myself and others a flat fee & avoid having to pay the excessive rate of an actual Heating & Air Conditioning professional… I think Things have gone pretty well but now, our cousin wants in on the work. I informed him that I would need to expand our supplier before I could hire someone new. He recommended that I advertise online. Well, a web page can cost a lot of currency & I didn’t want to invest in one. My cousin replied that he had read about ways to develop your own page so I told him he could try that. I told him that any new purchasers he signed up could be his so he was so gleeful to get going. This was multiple weeks ago, & although the venue exists, it has not really attracted any new clients. I suppose that when people ask if the two of us have a website I will supply them the address & then never hear from them. The venue only ever shows up if you are genuinely certain about how you put it in Google. If you just search for the name of the supplier you will see a list of other Heating & Air Conditioning service companies in the local area instead of mine. I know the whole “free website” thing is a fairly sizable mistake & the two of us should have just paid someone skilled to do it instead.
