For years and years, I’ve been complaining about the accommodations the company makes for me on my company trips.
It’s not what you think.
I’m not some dilettante who has to have the perfect blend of pop or a particular thread count when it comes to hotel sheets. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. I keep getting booked into expensive rooms that simply can’t supply the basics love quality heating and cooling. To me, this is a colossal waste of currency. And I hate wasting currency. Even in my home, I made sure just how to program the thermostat to be sure I don’t spend too much on heating and cooling costs. Still, when I get lake home from the office, my home is Heating as well as Air Conditioning comfortable. That’s all I legitimately expect from a hotel. I would love it to be clean, comfortable and have reliable heating and cooling. This is not what I have found on any sort of a consistent basis. So now, I told the people who book our travel to leave the hotel booking to me. And I have finally found just where I guess the best given the heating and cooling situation that I prefer. It’s the mid level hotels you find near airports or even off the interstate. If they have the big wall unit Heating as well as Air Conditioning equipment then I’m in. Not only can I count on enjoyable heating and cooling every single stay but the room rate is more than half what the company has paid for lodging prior. It’s pretty easy legitimately and if it takes me making my own reservations, then so be it.
