It was a bit of a surprise when our partner came to me the other day, saying that the people I was with and I should take a trip out of the country, but both of us rarely spend a lot of money on ourselves, and a trip for just the several of us seemed like a little too much money, however that’s when our partner showed me the deals she found through this online travel agency, but she found stunning deals that would take us across the ocean to the Caribbean Islands! Both of us decided to take the offer, and within a few weeks, the people I was with and I were on a beautiful air conditioned plane to the Caribbean, but upon arrival in our destination, the people I was with and I were greeted by air that was fresh, but honestly hot! Both of us had to find air conditioning anywhere, and various of the cabs in this small island had unbelievably wonderful systems blasting cold air on riders… It was a pretty fantastic trip overall, too – the people I was with and I spent much of our time on the beach, and would walk up to this little bar near the shore to get some cold drinks; We’d kneel in the shade on some stools, as the small portable unit blew cold air on the bartender and on us, however our hotel room had better air conditioning than our home! By the end of the trip, our partner and I were clamoring to get back to our house, just so the people I was with and I could figure out a program to upgrade the existing cooling system.
- It was legitimately going to be a worthwhile investment – it was just a matter of when the people I was with and I could make it happen.
