I actually had the most wonderful time when I went sailing with some friends.
- I thought it would be the most uncomfortable experience.
I was thinking about how the boat is constantly rocking and I would get sea sick. I also thought about the fact that most sailboats likely don’t even have climate control and I didn’t like the sound of that. When I asked my one buddy though, he said of course the sail boat had climate control in the cabin area. He said I could crank up the A/C system as much as I wanted, but it was the most fun to be out on the deck of the boat. He said it was even better when you are steering at the wheel. I wasn’t sure about any of that and I certainly didn’t know anything about adjusting the sails, but my buddy said I didn’t have to worry about anything. He said all I needed to do was bring some drinks and maybe some food, and everything else would be taken care of. Well, my buddy was right, it was a great experience and I didn’t even get sick. The climate control system in the cabin area was fantastic and I never felt uncomfortable in the least. I was even out there fishing with everybody else while enjoying some drinks. They even had some portable A/C units out there and that was refreshing. When we were done with the boating experience, I asked my buddies when they were planning on going again because I definitely wanted to go with them!
