I quickly called the local service provider to find a heating company that could repair the electric heating system… Every heating technician I called seemed to be completely booked up and couldn’t respond to a whole-home heating system. Just as I was about to give up hope, I received a call from a heating company who said he would be at the office in an hour. Luckily, he was on time, and after inspecting the electric heat pump, it was revealed that the device required service. After some time had passed, the office was back into liveable conditions. Following the events of that afternoon, I called the same serviceman to schedule a gas furnace/heater tune-up for the equipment at my home. I had radiant floor heating, which I properly switched off from the main system’s smart thermostat during certain times of year. The zone control plan also made it easy to design and adjust the heating and cooling plan in the house in terms of temperature management.
