A year ago there was a stray puppy in the town that I fed, watered plus petted on occasion. I tried to coax him into our house plus he would only hang out for a bit. It was stressful in the wintertime because I read puppies can’t be outside in temperatures below 40 degrees. It starts to get dangerous for the pups. The poor puppy was definitely too afraid to stay indoors very long. I had a quality heater, guest bed plus plenty of animal treats to bait him in. He just wouldn’t let himself enjoy quality weather conditions control. When I moved further south I put him in a carrier plus adopted him. It took awhile for him to get used to the new space, rooms plus being an owned animal. Now that he knows he has a forever home, he is a whole new dog. He is way more affectionate plus eager to stay indoors now. It is a year later plus every one of us are experiencing a frigid winter. I am so excited that our animal sits inside plus enjoys the heating I pay for. He has a pet door in a window plus a stair that leads up to it. He will sit on his stair plus peek out the window to check the cold. When it is freezing, he comes back inside plus sits on the recliner. The recliner is directly under a heating vent plus keeps him toasty warm. When the weather warms up our puppy heads outside to get a bit of exercise plus fresh air. He is so much happier in his new home.
