I took different drama classes throughout my school days. When I eventually got into advanced drama, I remember the teacher telling everybody how half of the students would probably drop out of the class. I thought that was strange to hear, but she was right. Most of the students never came back as they transferred to different classes. I enjoyed acting immensely though, so I decided I would try to stick with everything. I became best buddies with most of the other students who were very talented actors and actresses. We had fun with our performances and even for the main school play, I played a part that I was proud of. I actually played the part of an HVAC expert who was always messing up the HVAC equipment. I actually researched the role as I do with all roles, and I learned a lot about heating and cooling equipment. I figured if I were to play the role of an HVAC expert, I had to know a lot about what being an HVAC pro entails! Well, after having researched it immensely, I started to enjoy learning about heating and cooling repairs. The play was really fun, but people were surprised that I continued to study about different heat and AC products afterwards. While I did enjoy acting back in school, I guess it just wasn’t something I wanted to do as a professional career. I ended up going to an HVAC trade school and becoming a professional HVAC worker. Of course, I made sure I knew what I was doing, unlike my hilarious role I played back in the school play.
