I know most of you have heard the saying when someone is not speaking the truth and it is said that they are full of hot air, however, there was one particular instance where the person themselves was full of hot air and the room certainly was too.
- My uncle took me to a local trade show where they were selling parts for vintage cars.
He knew that I was really into that sort of thing and I would enjoy the day but it turned out to be the exact opposite. Most of the vendors were really cool and had some really good ideas when it came to restoring old cars but this one guy thought he was the cream of the crop when it came to restorations. We made our way back to his section of the building and as we walked this seem to get warmer and warmer, this was probably because there were no windows in that area and no air conditioning either. My uncle said you really wanted to hear what this guy had to say so I tagged along and regretted that decision about 10 minutes after we were there. Not only was I stopped listening to this guy go on and on about things he really had no clue about, but I could feel the sweat dripping down my back the entire time. My uncle finally noticed that I was visibly uncomfortable and irritated so he told me I could walk around if I wanted. I headed straight for the front of the building where the windows were open and I could breathe again. I knew I would rather sit around being bored then listen to that guy tell his tales and feel like my skin was melting at the same time.
