I was pretty fortunate to have found the right apartment for me.
- I had lived there for over multiple years, and I still hadn’t thought of moving.
I had friends in the apartment building, and it was within walking distance of where I worked. It wasn’t until I had problems with our Heating & A/C plan that I started wondering if it was time to transport on. I called the apartment manager and told him about the heating. Although I had our temperature control set at seventy, it was nearly eighty in our apartment. If it had been just myself and others who was having problems, I may have wondered if it wasn’t a problem with our temperature control. After talking to our friends who lived here, I realized we were all on the same page, and there was something wrong with the furnace. When they elected myself and others to call the apartment manager, I thought it would be an straight-forward call to make. Instead of being straight-forward, I ended up wanting to get out of here. She told myself and others there wasn’t any money in her budget to have a new furnace installed. I thought she should call the owner of the building and ask him about purchasing a new furnace. She told myself and others that if I wanted to pursue that alocation, she would supply myself and others the cellphone number. It was at that point that I considered moving anywhere else, however I wasn’t sure if it would be the right transport for me. Instead, I took the cellphone number and called the landlord while I was in the manager’s office. I ended up giving the cellphone to the manager and walked out knowing we would have a new furnace in the building by the end of the month..
