Working out after a sleepless night

I had difficulty sleeping last night.

I found it impossible to get comfortable.

I couldn’t fall asleep. I only managed to sleep for a couple of hours before waking up again. I was up at 4 AM. I remained in bed for another hour, but I couldn’t go back to sleep again. I couldn’t quit thinking about work responsibilities. Getting up was a struggle. I felt exhausted and my head was pounding. I was not eager to workout. However, I never skip a workout. I devote about an hour to exercising. I forced myself to workout, figuring it would be a waste of time. I certainly didn’t have much energy or motivation. I spent extra time warming up and stretching. I skipped in place for a while. I slowly eased into the workout and began to feel better. I jumped rope for nearly half an hour. I have an incline bench and used it for sit-ups and ab crunches. I used my eight-pound free weights to do bicep and tricep curls. I went through lunges and squats. By the conclusion of the workout, I was dripping sweat and gasping for breath. I burned a great deal of calories. I drank more water than usual. After my headache, my headache was totally gone. Because of the hard workout, I had a more productive day. I got quite a bit done and was in a positive mood. Now, it’s the end of the day. The extra energy from the workout has drained away. I am extremely tired and ready to head to bed early. I’m excited to get a better night’s sleep. Even if I can’t sleep, I will make myself get up and workout like always.
