The A/C wasn’t working so they upgraded me to the luxury suite

I’m not a big fan of travelling, but I often have to travel for business trips.

  • We have all kinds of important meetings in different places even outside of the country.

The last trip I went on, there was something off when I got to my hotel room. The air quality could have been better and when I went to adjust the temperature control settings, the A/C was not working very well. I knew that I wasn’t going to get any sleep in that hotel if they didn’t do something to fix the A/C. I called the front desk and they apologized for the complication. They sent a repairman to my room but he wasn’t able to figure out what was wrong with the A/C in there, so they ended up sending me to an upgraded suite. It was actually very luxurious and the climate control system worked great. It even had a smart thermostat so I could adjust the temperature control settings from my phone. This sure was a nice upgrade and I decided to relax in the jacuzzi that they had in my new room. I was kind of glad that there was a problem with the climate control system in the other room because otherwise I wouldn’t have been treated like royalty in this new room. I had the most relaxing night sleep I had in a long while, and I kind of didn’t want to leave the hotel right away, but I had to be going back home. I was thinking that it would be nice to have a smart thermostat like I had at the luxury suite at the hotel, and I told my wife about it. She agreed that it would be a good idea especially since smart thermostats save money on the energy bills.
