But honestly, I didn’t even think to bring our indoor odor problem to the HVAC company.

They introduced us to the whole home air purification unit. This thing uses UV light to destroy airborne contaminants. It fits right inside the HVAC equipment and since it uses UV light, there aren’t any filters to clean all the time. It didn’t take 2 hours of having that air purifier on before we could tell a difference. By the next day, our house smelled so wonderfully clean and crisp that neither of us even wanted to go to the zone controlled HVAC of the office.
