I’m not really sure what’s going on right now, but there’s a really weird smell that’s coming out of my air conditioning vents every single time that the A/C turns on. Since the weather is really heating up here now, it’s not like I can continue to live without air conditioning, and so now I’m just dealing with the weird smell. I can’t really explain what the smell is like, though. It’s kind of a weird smell that seems a little bit like something that is rotten. At first I thought that there might be something dead in one of the air ducts upstairs. I don’t know how an animal or rodent would get into one of the air ducts, though, since the ventilation system is a closed circuit. Still, I suppose that it happens sometimes. Since I’m worried that this might be the case, I have decided that I’m going to call up the local HVAC company to have them come and check things out for me. I don’t want to be breathing in some weird dead rodent germs every single time that the air conditioning turns on this summer! Plus, I can’t stand it much longer around here without running the A/C. It’s just getting too hot for me so I really hope that the HVAC company will be able to figure some things out for me. I just don’t know what else to do. Perhaps they will be able to fix the entire problem with just a professional ductwork cleaning. I hope that will do the trick!
