We went to the movies the other night, and we ended up having a terrible experience because it was so hot in there.
I don’t know if they just don’t realize that the weather is really heating up outside or not, but for some reason, they still had the heating system turned on.
At this point in the year, we don’t need to have the heating running at all. Honestly, the temperature outside is getting to the point where businesses should probably just go ahead and turn on their central air conditioning systems. At least, that’s my opinion. At the movie theater, it was definitely way too hot for us to enjoy the show. The whole place was hot and stuffy and I kept thinking that the air conditioning would be turning on at any time. Of course, that didn’t happen and the whole time we were there, it just got hotter and hotter. I was fanning myself with a stack of napkins from my popcorn, and my husband was sweating like crazy and putting his root beer against his forehead to try and cool off. It was really awful. I started to wonder if maybe the air conditioning was broken in the theater or if they just didn’t realize how hot it was inside the individual theaters. I finally went out to ask the manager if he could turn on the A/C and he said that it was broken down. They were waiting on the commercial HVAC company to get there to fix it. Hopefully, next time it will be working!
