I was on a long distance road trip this past Summer & the most messed up thing happened mid way through the drive.
- The a/c device in our mobile home I was driving broke down! With it being as tepid as it was, having no a/c was going to become a dangerous thing if I did not get it fixed quickly.
I was fortunate that I had a portable a/c device tucked away in a compartment in the mobile home, however that wasn’t going to keep the mobile cool for a long stage of time since it was an aged & not truly powerful portable a/c device. I basically had to find the nearest auto shop along the way & have the central heating & a/c device in the mobile home completely repaired. I was able to find one after the a/c went out. This little pit stop cost me numerous hours of time that was not planned & I had to go & hang out at a local eating establishment while it was being worked on. But by the end of the day the central a/c device within the mobile home was repaired & I was back on the road, but a bit behind schedule. Of course, I was just thankful that I was able to find a place to have that central a/c fixed. It could have been considerably worse. I can only imagine if I had to go a whole day without having the a/c device fixed. Like I mentioned, the portable a/c system would not have worked for very long. So it all worked out for the best thankfully!
