Summer just began two days ago and it is already getting really hot.
We are now at the longest day of the year and I find myself staying up a lot later than during the wintertime.
I like to go to bed early but in the summer it is very difficult to do when the sun stays up in the sky till almost 10pm. I end up going to bed around midnight, which is a far cry from my early nights of 9:30pm during the winter days. Well, winter will be here soon and I’ll be back on track. The HVAC company I work for during the week likes me to be at work by 7am to help with stocking the shelves and doing inventory. So when it is summer I usually roll into work tired and exhausted from a short night of sleep. A few cups of coffee with the HVAC reps and staff gets me going but there is nothing like a good night of sleep to propel you through the day. I wish they had winter hours and we could come in a bit later but they have to keep a tight schedule the whole year round. I am fine with the schedule and it is an easy job selling HVAC equipment and helping people pick out the right HEPA filter for their system so I can’t complain. I am just happy to have a steady income and some great people to work with. I am a lucky guy when it comes to finding work in the HVAC industry.
